Landmarks & Gems‘ is our original award winning, small-group bike tour. It’s a splendid introduction to London’s most iconic locations, Royal Palaces and local favourites – all from the safety of an expertly planned cycling route.

Ride up to the home of the Queen, enjoy a pint of local beer with your group & even leave your mark on London at a street art zone!  You’ll have a hoot rolling along in the fresh air and visiting all the best locations, chocks away!

Pip pip, & tally ho!

Riding a beautiful British-made ‘Pashley’ bicycle you’ll cycle along the quiet back streets of Westminster, along the River Thames and into Royal London, making frequent stops to soak up the atmosphere while your guide entertains you with fun facts & stories.

See the pomp & ceremony…

See the Horseguards on Whitehall, and get up close to the Queens Guards during the ‘Changing of the Guard’ at Buckingham Palace. We’ll get you to the best spot at the right time and explain all that’s going on.

Try you hand at spray painting in a colourful graffiti zone where British graffiti street artist Banksy hosted the Cans Festival.  We’ll supply you with spray paint!

We’ll stick to picturesque quiet back streets and segragated cycle ‘superhighways’ to explore the best of London accessible only by bike.

Try Local Beer

Stop off at a cosy pub in Covent Garden to sample some local ‘real ale’ and enjoy a pint of beer with fellow travellers.

Landmarks & Gems Bike Tour

What time does the tour start?

10am most mornings, occasionally also at 2pm. Custom start times are available when booked as a private tour.

Does the tour include bike hire?

Yes!  You get to ride one of our beautiful British-made Pashley bicycles for the duration of the tour.

Do you operate in the rain?

Tours operate rain or shine. Complementary ponchos are available from our bike tour HQ if required.

Can I leave luggage behind?

We have secure storage available at our bicycle HQ where you are welcome to leave any unwanted luggage for the duration of your tour.

How long does the tour last?

Approximately 3.5 hours inclusive of a 20 minute refreshment break.

Where does the tour end?

Back at the Walrus Bar (SE17RW), discounted drinks are available by mentioning ‘TallyHo’ at the bar. Huzzah!

Do you go on roads?

We use a mix of bike lanes & quiet back streets.  This tour is designed to be as safe and scenic as possible, suitable for all cycling abilities.

Is the tour suitable for children?

We accept all riders over 4ft tall. For families with smaller children, particularly those who require tag-along bikes, we recommend booking this experience as a private tour to ensure we can tailored it to your kids requirements. This can be done by selecting the ‘Private’ option on the Landmarks & Gems booking form.
