Penny Farthing Training Ride
Learn To Cycle Like A Victorian
Master the art of riding a Penny Farthing
Perhaps one of the precarious looking machines to grace the streets of London, the Ordinary Bicycle, aka Penny Farthing, has become an iconic piece of Victorian engineering and a symbol of British eccentricity. Our Penny Farthing Training Ride is a challenging team building activity perfect for groups & parties.
Starting in a quiet historic square, you’ll learn how to safely master the art of mounting, riding, and (crucially) dismounting a Penny Farthing bicycle. Once accomplished, those with an adventurous temperament will get a chance to cycle across London and up to Buckingham Palace on an unforgettable Penny Farthing expedition.
Tally ho chaps!
Ride in formation up The Mall to Buckingham Palace and get some fabulous photos along the way. On Sundays, the road is closed to vehicles – so you’ll be able to show off to all the onlookers!
